June hols :)

Heyho! 😀 June hols now!! The scent of freedom is in the air!!

This June hols is gonna be jam-packed! Flying off on Sunday for two weeks in China! But I will be bringing my homework and revision stuff with me sighhhh 😦 If you want a souvenir, tell me! 😀 My parents gave me money as a birthday gift (didn’t know what to buy me :D), so my budget isn’t that tight ;D

Speaking of birthday, thanks for the birthday wishes and gifts! 😀 They really mean a lot 🙂 But honestly I’m rubbish at thanking people 😛 so just know that I appreciate it yeah (((:

Gymnastics is sooooooo cool!!!!!!! OMG I WISH I WAS A GYMNAST/I WILL BE A GYMNAST IN MY NEXT LIFE. Seriously I have never obssessed over something so much before *O* And my new official idol is SHAWN JOHNSON 😀 If you are a 203-ian, you probably know that already 😀

Sometimes I really count myself blessed to have such amazing friends in my life 🙂 And what they say is true – “A friend is not someone whom have known you the longest, but rather someone who has stuck with you through thick and thin”.

K so school starts tomorrow :O This 3-day weekend has been relatively carefree, and I will miss being able to wake up whenever I want to, even if it’s at 1pm in the afternoon 😀 So I have my two wen zhang fen xi left And I really really don’t want to do it, but I will juist have to grit my teeth and bear with it! Really really looking forward to CSM, even though most of my classmates aren’t, because it gives me a break from this seeming never-ending cycle of academics and studies!

Today has been productive, or at least more productive than the past few days had been, so I’m just thankful for this increase in my level of productivity. Humans SIA in the morning, LA broadcast in the afternoon, Maths Written Task now, and later on I will attempt to tackle one of the wen zhang fen xi. No idea when’s physics quiz And I don’t feel like revising for it gahhhhh. I don’t feel like doing a lot of things, but they are all things I have to do, so sighhhh. Guess this reluctance is all part and parcel of a student’s life.

So glad to be finally done with Graphs in Maths class! Looking at graphs just give me a headache, and I am really looking forward to Variations 😀 Not because I love it, but because it is a whole new topic that has nothing to do with graphs! So YAY 😀

And Twitter is fun! Making hashtags is just awesome! 😀

Blogging about anything I feel like :D

1. Gymnastics. Ok I have recently grown obssessed with WAG (Women’s Artistic Gymnastics), which is bad since this is such a busy period for me sighh 😦 American gymnasts are really really good! Especially Shawn Johnson, who is just amazing ;D So for the past couple of weeks, I have been watching and rewatching Youtube videos of her competition performances and interviews, to the extent that I am now pretty familiar with some gymnastics terminology (:

2. Songs. The current songs on my most-played playlist are:

• America, West Side Story. Very witty and meaningful lyrics! Super catchy tune as well! Makes me wanna smile everytime I hear it 🙂 Btw, at the part “Twelve in a room in America”, I counted and there were actually only eight men in that scene 😉
• I Feel Pretty, West Side Story. My second favourite West Side Story song! Witty too! And I feel like making it my theme song lol ;D Must thank my music teacher for introducing West Side Story to me because it is such a lovely movie with a really really good soundtrack!
• Call Me Maybe, Carly Rae Jepson. Carly is the most popular singer to have came from Canada since Justin Bieber and Avril lavinge. The lyrics and tune aren’t very exceptional, but overall it’s a nice song (: (I first got to know of this song because I was stalking the Twitter acount of Jordyn Wieber, one of the best gymnasts in the world currently, and she mentioned this song in one of her tweets :D)
• Stay, Robot, Take Me Along, Permanent December, Miley Cyrus. These four songs were from her album Can’t Be Tamed, which was released two years ago. But I have started listening to them again recently. These songs, especially Robot and Permanent December, are great for keeping me awake on nights when I have a lot of homework to do!

Back after hiatus :D

Sorry, but this is gonna be a pretty sloppy post 😦 Reason being my hectic work schedule and the long long to-do list in my iPad that just reminds me of how much work I have left All the SIAs are finally catching up on me, and there is still the usual homework.to be completed. K just gonna do a brief overview of the major events that took place in April (:

1. OM. It has been an integral part of my life so long, and even till now I’m still suffering from post-OM blues. Met and got to know many amazing people -team mates, people from other teams,coaches – and the seniors are just plain awesome! Since OM has ended, I have adopted a more optimistic viewpoint and right now I’m just focusing on remembering the highs rather than the lows (: NYOM, NOMMIES – I’ll miss them :’) Jiayou to the World Teams! NYOM has faith in you guys (:

2. BSE. It ended quite some time ago. It had been my “home” for one month, and it’s hard not to feel nolstagic after the experience had came to a close. A403 and Group 3 are just really amazing! Awesome people there 😀 And I’m really glad the Face-to-Faith session on enabled me to get to know all of my groupmates better (: Many nice memories have been made there, and now whenever I catch sight of the Boarding School, I am able to immediately point out where my old room is and a wave of nolstagia will hit me :’) Really want a chance to go back to BS again!

3. Block tests. The format for this year’s block test has changed, and I definitely prefer this new format (: Gives us more time to prepare! Results were decent, and it really showed me which parts I have to put more effort into. Although revision definitely clashed with OM sessions, I’m glad it turned out ok 🙂

Seems like that’s it… Nagging feeling I’m missing out on something, oh well (: K bye people! And if you are from Nanyang – jiayou! Hold on for a little while longer and it will be school holidays before you know it ;D

EEKS LOW BLOG VIEWS D: + OM

So my blog views has been despairingly low as of late D: why people why???

Anyway I just went on Gdocs yesterday, and lo and behold! I see a gdoc titled “OM SCRIPT :D”! So I clicked on it, and immediately the memories came flooding back to me :’)

I can’t believe we actually came up with all those stuff! xD Stuff like “Siler shiny lingerie”, “Sissy guys (ie Kay Han etc)”, “Rapunzel got dandruff” etc. OMG WHAT WERE WE THINKING :O HAHAHAHA THIS IS SO RIDICULOUS xDDDDD And omg our ideas for the “special power” were really lame too! 😀 Basically we were just naming every superpower we could remember from Disney’s The Incredibles movie (: LOL

Our ideas and our perception of OM have really matured ever since we first started (: If any OM junior group ever showed me this, I would be like “HAHAHAHAHA” then “what.the.hell .__.” So I guess I can now understand why our seniors didn’t approve of our old script even though I remember feeling really indignant back then. But I can honestly say that our ideas, and our punniness, have grown much more sophisticated in the course of 5 months.

And I still remember the OM camp, and the seniors threw all of us a question: You have a small box, how do you use it to defeat a villian? And I remember being so proud of my answer – You open the box and find an engagement ring inside, you propose to a Superheroine with it and ask her to defeat the villian for you. WHAT IS THIS. AHHHH I AM SO EMBARRASSED NOW. I CAN’T BELIEVE I ACTUALLY THOUGHT THAT WAS A GOOD ANSWER.

So we have only 3 weeks left to D-day. On April 14th, even if we lose and I break down and start crying, I am going to smile afterwards, because of all of these memories.

I AM SENTIMENTAL AND I KNOW IT AND I AM PROUD OF IT :’D

TKAM is turning into a great bore. For one, I am not reading it voluntarily and it is only out of the interest of my LA marks that I have been reading it over and over again. Secondly, I am not a very patient person, so a book – in this case, TKAM – loses its thrill to me when I already know what’s going to happen and most of the times, I just simply can’t be bothered to reread it because there is no more suspence and excitement then D: But I am going to have to force myself to continue reading and rereading it because it is the test subject of my LA block test, so yeah… 😦

OM today with Tbenz 😀 So we were doing work in the canteen, and Shu Ning, Bei Lin, and this other OM senior was sitting at the other end of the canteen. I wanted to ask Shu Ning a question, but I didn’t dare to approach her so I smsed her instead. Later on, she came up to me and ask “How come you couldn’t just ask me directly instead of smsing me?” And I was laughing nervously while trying to think of a plausible excuse, because honestly, “I didn’t dare to” just sounds really silly when you say it out loud. Thank the OMGod I was saved by a timely intervention from Tbenz, so PHEW 😀

Oh and Jubilee is now my idol-senior again 😀 COS’ SHE USED A SMILEY IN HER SMS THIS MORNING!! So sweet and nice :’)

March hols (:

Today is the first day of March hols 😀 and it’s a welcome break from the hectic school schedule as for the first time in a long long time, I can sleep and wake up whenever I want to.

Unfortunate thing is that I fell ill today D: a mild fever, and my temperature has been fluctuating for the whole afternoon and is now settled at a pretty okayish 37.4 degree celsius. But the worst thing is how I constantly vomit up acid (5 times at the last count). So now I have sworn of all food rich in acid eg oranges. I have gone on a temporary fast today as just the thought of food is enough to make me want to puke my guts out. Although my stomach is empty now, I am still dry-heaving,which is to say I retch a lot but nothing comes out, which is just a slight comfort.

Haha spent one whole paragraph describing some pretty gory (not really) details! (:

I dragged myself to school this morning to do OM. Today’s session gave me a lot of mixed emotions, and now a dull panic is slowly but surely invading my system. 4 more weeks left. This is just crazy. And that’s with block tests just around the corner too. Wow.

My life seems awfully boring at the moment (even though it’s anything but so), so to make this woefully short post longer, I shall talk about some random stuff 😀 and if I manage to think of any concrete event worth blogging about, I will do so (:

Just realised that I never got around to blogging about BSE and LSC. The thing is, I dislike blogging about such stuff because as I try to recount every small detail and relive the whole experience, the entire thing just loses its once-in-a-lifetime magic. That, and also because my memory is a little hazy right now, brought upon by the effects of the medicine I am forced to take every few hours sighhhhh.

Chess competition on Friday :O My skills are rather unpolished since I went on a competition hiatus last year. So I hope I won’t screw up too badly and manage to attain an individual award this time, which is super tough considering that this is the first year I am playing in the Open Category. (sorry if you are being confused by my chess speak ><)

SUNGMIN IS SERIOUSLY SWOON-WORTHY. HE IS SO FLEXY AND HOT AND CUTE AND SMEXY AND SUPER AWESOME AT DANCING AND MARTIAL ARTS. I FEEL MYSELF MELT EVERYTIME HE TURNS ON THAT SMOULDERING GAZE, I KID YOU NOT. And I can feel myself gradually turning into one of those lovesick fangirls who hide themselves in his changing room and pounce on him when he opens the door and shout things like “I want to have your babies!” Ok the last part is slightly..weird. I AM NOW AN EXPERIENCED HIKER ON THE “DARK PATH OF SIN, TEMPTATION, AND SUNGMIN’S MUSCLES”.
